Classic Gilbertson Bluebird Feeder

Our blue birds have loved this new feeder. We get to watch them everyday. it seems to have brought so many more blue birds to our yard!

I ordered the BlueFeast Deluxe feeder in the midst of a week-long starling invasion. I received my feeder yesterday, and of course the starlings had since moved on. Regardless, I hung the feeder and waited. Took only about 2 minutes before a male checked it out, he hopped around the roof a few minutes peering down and eventually hopped onto one of the upper bars, but gave up and flew away. I had initially left the removable bar in place (thinking my bluebirds would catch on immediately) but I felt bad for the guy so I went out and removed the bar. It took an additional 10 minutes or so before another male returned and he basically slid right in! He exited through the side with the missing bar, but I’m pleased to see they can fit through the double bars no issues! And I’m crossing my fingers when the (unfortunate) starlings arrive, they won’t figure it out at all! This feeder is immaculately made, it is very sturdy and I have a feeling it’ll last years to come! A great addition to my backyard feeding stations!

Excellent construction, but birds have not entered after 2 weeks. But the weather has not been the best.

Well made bird feeder. It took just 1 day for the bluebirds to find the feeder. The starlings and other birds have tried to get to the mealworms without success. Great product!!

It took the Bluebirds a few days to get used to the new feeder but it is doing a great job of keeping the Starlings away from the mealworms.

Works amazingly well. Grackles etc cant get in and the birdbirds were quick to start using it. Thank you!

My wife ordered 2 of these a few weeks ago. We also got a feeder. We’ve had 2 nest for several years but no luck. The feeder was used quickly by a half dozen or more birds regularly. Yesterday, I finally got one of the feeder up. This morning by 8:00 am, we already had visitors so around noon, I got the other nest up. By 2:00 this afternoon, it had a pair visiting.
My wife ordered more nest. To say the least, we are excited with the product and service.

Awesome mealworm feeder for bluebirds and wens. Works as started... keeps all grackles out!

This winter we have a lot of visitors from red winged blackbirds and Starlings, who do not give any chance to mealworms.

The bluefeast deluxe is wonderful as the larger birds cannot enter the feeder and eat all the mealworms. The container holds plenty of mealworms and is easily accessible to refill and clean.
