Classic Gilbertson Bluebird Feeder

I love this feeder. It arrived yesterday currently waiting on my husband to put the two brackets on that I purchased before I hang it before I hang it.
Perfect timing I had five bluebirds fledged this morning and the rinky-dink cup. I’ve been using in the back. This will be replacing. The quality of this is amazing and now I won’t have to keep going outside and refilling it as often as I had been.

Very well made. 1.25 inch steel. Great design. Will withstand a bear attack without bending in half.

Truthful, detailed advertising. Price point was a first a barrier but I'm sold on the value now.

I have a BlueBird nest box with camera and decided to replace by open cup/mealworm feeder to help out the Eastern Bluebirds through the spring nesting season with this feeder. It took about 2 weeks - I was about to remove the rail to give them easier access and then, lo, the birds understood the assignment and started ducking into the center when the babies hatched. This feeder has exceeded my expectations. Easy to clean. Easy to load. No waste. Attractive. It DOES keep out Starlings and Mockingbirds but they were kind of obnoxious when the Starling fledglings discovered it - sitting on the box hoping their parents could shake loose some worms. Anyway - the big birds gave up and left. Now the whole first BlueBird family has returned to feed and my normal "I just feed until June" mantra has been blown up and I will continue to keep this feeder in action year round. I will be buying more from BirdHaven. Beautiful design and really well made.

We absolutely love this feeder and so do the bluebirds! We were skeptical but it took no time at all for the bluebirds to get the worms and the starlings to be denied. Thank you for such a great product!

This little red wildflower is adorable. I wish the hanger part was a bit longer though because it was too small to fit over my fence post. I made it work though and love it.

Extremely well built with materials engineered to last! The description on the website is accurate and the product is extremely sturdy while also aesthetically pleasing. Shipping was through UPS and it arrived well ahead of when it was promised. I'm also pleased with the fact that our smaller birds now have a chance to enjoy the suet that we put out without having to compete with the starlings and redwing blackbirds that are prevalent in our area. The mealworm bird feeder is fabulous.It's working great. The only birds that are getting in there are the bluebirds and maybe a couple other smaller birds , which is fine.

This feeder seems to be what I've been looking for. We put it up just this week and already the titmice and wrens have figured it out. The bluebirds are slower historically to adapt to new feeders. We have a LOT of youngsters visiting this season, but so far they prefer clearcut feeder options. The one thing I really appreciate with this feeder is the one removable bar so the bird peeps can figure things out. Hugely important. Hence the 5 stars. Well done.

I love this feeder! It is so well made, keeps the food dry and the birds sheltered during the rain. It's the perfect feeder!

Our Bluebird house was used by Nuthatch birds and when they moved out we cleaned out the nest and installed this feeder. The Bluebirds came back and use this mealworm feeder and started a new family in the Bluebird birdhouse. This won't rot out and can be cleaned by a hose and dried.

Clever way to insert suet into the feeder. The birds have no problem gripping the cage to enjoy the suet. The only problem is this is blackbird season in this area and we're busy chasing them away so the woodpeckers can enjoy the suet. The colors are beautiful and the structure of the feeder is outstanding. Our old one made of plain wood was rotting away. I feel certain we'll have many years of enjoyment with this feeder.
