This Sparrow-Resistant Upside-Down Suet Feeder is designed for birds that naturally cling and feed upside down, including woodpeckers, nuthatches, and chickadees.
Unlike standard suet feeders, this design makes it harder for House Sparrows, sometimes called English Sparrows, to sit and feed for long periods. The tightly spaced mesh sides allow birds to see the suet inside, but the feeder is intended to be accessed from below by upside-down clinging birds.
This feeder is sparrow-resistant, not sparrow-proof. Persistent House Sparrows may still cling long enough to get small amounts of suet, but the upside-down design makes it much harder for them to feed comfortably for extended periods.
Built from eco-friendly poly lumber, rust-proof stainless steel hardware, and a sturdy hanging cable, this feeder is made to handle sun, snow, and years of use. The lift-up top makes refilling simple, and the feeder holds two full-size 12oz. suet or seed cakes at a time, helping keep your favorite birds fed longer with fewer trips outside.

Unused items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, uninstalled, in original condition, and include all parts, hardware, and packaging when possible.
For returns due to changing your mind, ordering the wrong item, or no longer needing the item, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. If we provide a prepaid return label, the cost of that label will be deducted from your refund.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If an order received free shipping, Bird Haven still paid the carrier to ship it, and actual shipping costs may be deducted from the refund in some cases.
Custom, made-to-order, used, installed, or weathered items are not returnable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
